- He's Sparticus Review added: 2018.10.23★ ★ ★ ★ ★We came across Tayross Associates Limited when we had trouble with a neighbour developing his property next door to us. Issues arose with cracks appearing in our wall. Immediately upon meeting the MD from the company (Carl) it was obvious he was highly skilled in this very specialised field, Indeed his professional credentials are really second to none. After a brief survey of the damage he met with the neighbour and their contractors and handled a very tricky situation which potentially could have been very unpleasant. He informed them of the ‘Party Wall Act, which I must admit I had never heard of, nor it seems had they and told them they should have carried out a full survey of my adjoining property before the works began. He even recommended a company they could use (other than him, to avoid conflicts of interest).
Carl and his assistant carried out a thorough survey for us and revisited several times during the works. It was clear to the contractors and the neighbour that we had the right man on the job and they spoke to Carl and to us at every critical stage of the works. On completion he also managed to get the neighbours contractors to finance the repairs which our own building had suffered beforehand.
Had we not found this brilliant company to represent our interests I am sure we’d have not only had a huge amount of damage but also a nasty legal fight on our hands. When it came to selling also the full and excellent survey we had proved invaluable.

They provided me with a great service, even though I was slightly late in contacting them and had some issues with the information they required. They did a good job and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who has a party wall requirement.
